Description

Annaharvey Farm is a top class Cross Country Facility and Equestrian Centre, it is also home to our 400 acre beef and tillage farm. An absolute dream location to bring your horse on holiday.

On the farm we have fantastic riding facilities that include over 200 cross country jumps to cater for all levels of jumping, a gallops, indoor and outdoor arenas. These are some of the best cross country equestrian facilities in Ireland and as all riding is supervised it is a perfect spot to build up your confidence with your horse but equally advanced riders will be well catered for too.

We are a family business with Sam and Aisling running the horsey side of the farm; Sam is a qualified course builder and both he and Aisling regularly compete in Ireland bringing home a wealth of experience. We also host regular hunter trials, training events and Eventing Ireland competitions throughout the year.

You should note that all riding must be under instruction options are: flatwork, jumping & cross country lessons as well as hacks around our 400 acre farm.

Equestrian facilities:

  • Indoor Arena with Fibre Sand Surface – 42 x 22 metres
  • Outdoor Grass Show Jumping Arena – 100 x 50 metres
  • Outdoor School with Fibre Sand Surface – 30 x 55 metres
  • Cross-country Course – 200 acre. with over 200 jumps
  • Hacking – 430 acres
  • Riding School Horses/Cobs/Ponies (We have a choice from ex International Eventers, schoolmasters and beginner horses & ponies)
  • Stables – American barn and internal stables
  • Tack Shop – for all your riding needs

Accommodation

Our riding holiday guests all stay together in the tastefully converted farmhouse that is located right beside the stables. The farmhouse is used exclusively for our guests and we live in our own houses on the farm. Generally there will be other guests staying in the farmhouse/lodge unless you book it out exclusively.

The rooms are all ensuite, comfortable and very cosy laced with paintings and personal touches which Sam’s mum Lynda is responsible for.

There is lots of space to lounge about and relax including an honesty bar in the living area where you can help yourself to a tipple as a reward for being brave on cross country.

The food is home cooked by Charlotte and her team and you definitely won’t go hungry.

Some months of the year food is not included but they can offer self catering so please request if you prefer this. There is a great variety of local restaurants and pub food to choose from in the village.
